Elevating Women in Ugandan Film.

Goals and objectives

Goal 1: Empowerment

Objective: To empower women in the film industry by providing them with the tools and resources to enhance their skills and opportunities.

Measurable Target: Increase the number of women actively engaged in the film industry in Uganda by 20% within the next two years.

Goal 2: Skill Development.

Objective: To offer training in various aspects of filmmaking, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and digital literacy.

Measurable Target: Within one year, have at least 100 women complete our comprehensive filmmaking training program, with a minimum 80% passing rate.

Goal 3: Business Management

Objective: To equip participants with business management skills to navigate the film industry effectively.

Measurable Target: Within three years, facilitate the establishment of at least 10 women-led film production companies in Uganda, supported by our business management training.

Goal 4: Digital Literacy

Objective: To provide training in digital tools and technologies to stay current in the digital film marketplace.

Measurable Target: Within six months, ensure that 80% of our participants are proficient in using industry-standard digital filmmaking tools and technologies.

Goal 5: Addressing Exploitation

Objective: To provide participants with skills to address and respond to instances of exploitation and harassment in the industry.

Measurable Target: Within one year, establish a confidential reporting system for instances of exploitation and harassment, and respond to and resolve at least 90% of reported cases satisfactorily.

Goal 6: Advocacy

Objective: Advocate for better policies in the film industry.

Measurable Target: Within two years, collaborate with at least two influential industry organizations or government bodies to advocate for and achieve at least one policy change in favor of gender equality and safety in the film industry.
